Zoas under attack

Hi everyone,

Not sure what it is but I've red flake-like flat thingy all over my zoa tank...

Issit harmful? how can I get rid of it?

I can't really see them moving...but I noticed they change position now n then...I guess maybe they move v v slowly so...

It kind of cause some of my zoas to stop opening already...

You can try FW dip the zoa.

Thx bro, I'll try doing that with the zoos...but it's everywhere in my tank...I think they might go back to the zoas unless I can rid them off my tank altogether...

I have seen this many years on an article on the website. It is a kind of parasite. It will grow fast and some are corals killer while some kills fish.

Well, as what I know you have no remedy but to manually clean it out.

Thx bro, I'll try to remove as much as I can...Juz scared if I miss out 1 or 2 they may reproduce & come back again...

Do u think adding a fish would help? so far no livestock inside except a tiny pistol shrimp...

had the problem last time , 3 six line wrasse handle it .. . mainly green , six line , yellow wrasse go for flat worms .

Mine's only a 2 footer so maybe 1 will do...thx for the tips!

Think twice man i used to have a six line and it become the king of my tank all small peaceful fish if put in any then hmm u can imagine whoo. They alway said size does not matter. And one more point is that, there is no 100% that the watever so call predators of flatworm will hunt but of cos the chance is high jus like angel nipping on coral all depend on individual. Any good luck in oyunter them i try six line for me it work so hopefully it goes well for you.

Sorry bro but from wat i read from most site it should be a sixline a very powerful pest control rather then leopard wrasser maybe i wrong but the site say that six line is a better choice in term of handling pest.

no la, the 1 year is a joke. nobody will be so patience. 1 year because some pest may be hidden and not eaten. So I just kiasu, kiasi, kialang,.....

Six line is better as my view too.

I agree six lines is better if u want a pest remover... provided have no intention of keeping other species of wrasses.

Oh btw, I don't think that 2 six lines introduce together can even co-exit together... that's the case for me in my 4 footer....
