Adding more LR would only enhance your biological filteration. It'll take your DSB at least a year to fully mature. You may want to consider adding another 10-20kg of LR.

What fish do you plan on keeping?

You will defnitely need more LR imho since you not having sump or any filter. Totally dependent on ur bio-filter which is your LR.

You sure u only intend to keep just 4-5" of fish? This means only 1 or 2 small fish. You planning for a full reef tank? Can't wait to see how it will be like, must be cool.

Cheers

I don't like to have too many live rocks wor. Cos my first marine tank got so many live rocks until no place for my fishes to swim and I was only limited to small little fishes. So I setup this tank mainly for fishes and I want them to have a lot of space to swim lor. I intend to rear Tangs , Butterflies and Angels. Can ah? I just bought a 5 kilo flat piece of LR and added it in. Enough LR or not?

See my other tank. too many LR, no space for fishes to swim

Your new tank too little LR and your old tank too many. y not move some from your old tank to new?

Then both tank's fishes also happy.
