Ehiem pump

Need some advice from expertise here. I got a tank which is 4ft x 2ft x 2.5ft. Height of the cabinet is about 36inch. Consider to use EHEIM Pump compact+ 5000 or eheim 1262 or 1264. Which is better?

Bro, but i see tat the voltage is 100w which is 4500 flow rate and compact 5000 is 5k flow rate and the voltage is 78w.

you must consider headloss, which is better with 1264..

i setting another new tank which is 4x2.5x2 2.5 is the height , from every lfs boss asking me to take aquabee 5000/6000 or OS 6500 . EHEM IS SIMPLE NOT SUFFICIENT .

Thought of using compact 5000 as it power consumption is 78w with 5k flow rate. Where 1264 is 100w with 4500 flow rate. And also seeing that there's comment that compact 5k is not as efficient as 1264. So, i start feeling confuse. Any one had use compact 5k? Any comment on it compare to 1264..

Consider the following extract from a PC-mod website:

Two main numbers to be concerned with are Flow (GPH/LPH) and Head Pressure. The flow is how fast the pump can move water with absolutely no restriction on the intake or output. Head Pressure is how high the pump is able to push water at 0 gallons per minute.

Note that head pressure has no relation to vertical height in a closed system, and the length of tubing has little to do with the head pressure (1/2" inside diameter tubing, for example, provides 3" of resistance for every 3 feet, at 1 gallon per minute).
