Hello there

Carbon will do justice to ur water in removing yellow tint, removes smell, make d water clear n so on but it got to be an activated carbon so tt it will not release wat ever it holds back to the water when exhausted.

u do need to change it after sometime n duration will b on amount of ls u got. Best look at manufacturer recomendation.

I would say first priority for a FR would be to put phosphate absorber like Rowaphos, and then second priority (if at all) to put carbon to remove the yellow tint in the water generated by organic waste.

Be teachable always, nobody has a monopoly on wisdom. But learn to distinguish "fact" from "opinion".
