SRC Member Ah-lim Posted August 21, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted August 21, 2007 ROWAphos = used to reduce Phosphate and Silicate Carbon = removes toxic organic compounds [Need to change after some time.] Hope that helps.
SRC Member STORM TROPPER Posted August 21, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted August 21, 2007 Hello there Carbon will do justice to ur water in removing yellow tint, removes smell, make d water clear n so on but it got to be an activated carbon so tt it will not release wat ever it holds back to the water when exhausted. u do need to change it after sometime n duration will b on amount of ls u got. Best look at manufacturer recomendation.
SRC Member XPeriment 626 Posted September 6, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted September 6, 2007 I would say first priority for a FR would be to put phosphate absorber like Rowaphos, and then second priority (if at all) to put carbon to remove the yellow tint in the water generated by organic waste.
