Anyway, can always get some excuse to go away for short holiday, eg some beach resort place. Get a beach front room, propose at sun rise or sunset, at the balcony. B):yeah:

get a ring in advance for her without her knowing.

bring her to the jewelry shop during peak hr with lots of people.

kneel infront of her with flowers and propose with the ring in the shop.

as for the words to say, i leave it to you.

you need to link up with the assitant there first of course.

but before that, spend a beautiful day with her, fine dinning etc.

or maybe u want to book a hotel room in advance for that day. hehe. you can decorate the room with sparkling things. then propose inside. =P if i were you, i will document all the beautiful time with her in a diary and at the last page of it holds a ring, thats for her. =)

and i feel that proposing in public its the best and means great sincerity. it takes guts or balls. haha

dun use the flat excuse man, survey from female said that its too common and unromantic. so... screw that idea.

this is a once of a lifetime thingy(hopefully for everyone), do it once, do it good with beautiful memories and with no regrets!

hehe...bro, i is just kidding with you lah....

i proposed to my wife at a nice restaurant. somewhere a little quiet, romantic songs, lots of privacy.

my suggestion is this restaurant at mandarin hotel. top of the m or something. romantic, dim candle light, rotates around for a nice view of singapore, a little bit of wine to soften her up, plus they have a three piece band. can ask the maitre d for help too. i bet he has better ideas than what we can come up with.

the food sucks though. i ordered an entree that came with some freakin cheese in cups. taste like week old skimmate (not that ive tried it). and expensive too. two person will easily set you back by about $300. but what the heck, its a once in a lifetime thing. three red pratas: $300. lifetime of peace and quiet from happy wife: priceless
