I think so.....some LFS has listed them as FIJI damsel...(not sure)

I heard that they are from Australia. So more expensive than local yellowtails.

Not is Not the Yellow Tails Blue Devil Damsel, its total difference. The fish top & bottom of the body are Yellow & the Tails is transparent... I had two Yellow tails blue Devil Damsel....

Identification has always been tough, any taxonomist would agree...Well, if I'm allowed to comment, I think the first fish is really the female Chrysiptera taupou, or South Seas Devil..the one from Fiji, which I think can costs more then $15, is Starck's demoiselle, Chrysiptera starcki, rich dark blue and no yellow belly. The next photo posted should be the male blue devil, Chrysiptera cyanea with the orange tail.

well they just cost more as they are not local.. in other countries the yellow tail are expensive and they yellow belly are cheap.. hehe

well damsels sigh.. they are devils!!!
