Parameters of current:

no3: 5ppm<

temp: kept below 26.5dc

kh:8-9 (hard to boost it up using kh buffer)

po4: Zero ( 2x Skimz FR Using Sorb4,thinking of changing one to carbon. any advice?)

9W UV light

DE HO 4x 39W ATI Tubes

Reef Octopus skimmer

2x big Tonga Rocks from Coral Farm.

i also grow lots of Cheato and red Algae in my sump bro.

think it really helps in reducing the NO3.

wow.. for a small tank your equipment is good...

actually, it is better not to fluidise carbon because carbon is britter and by fluidising them they will knock against each other and break down, thus leaving small carbon particles in the water which is not good.

but nevertheless, you have 2 FR.. might as well...

Actually you can fill some "stockings" with activated carbon and dump them into high flow area inside ur sump... I will keep the 2 FRs for PO4 removal media

Hi bro Bluezing, red star i bought at Coral farm at ard $12 if i remember correctly.

Thanks bro Jasment for your info . came to think back, i regret getting 2.5" height. really got problem for maintenance . still have to climb on top of a ladder inorder to stretch my hand to the bottom of the tank. so , often i have problem in placing any corals below. and upon getting a T5 light as compare to MH, it might not be able to penetrate deep below. so no choice have to shift up the corals. consider MH, incurred high electricity bills..luckily i decided to go bare bottom. so all debtrius is more easy to be filter out by a battary operate pump. i realish less problem for bare bottom tank . And also more coraline aglae( purple, bright pink type) grow all over my tank since i set up till now. never use any CR . thinking of getting on CR. but not sure how to set up the CO2 and the system to tune.

hi all bros....already decom my current 3ft *1.5* 2.5 tank few mths back.

thinking of quit for life in marine.

my new house is under renovation and of sudden found a good spot for marine again.!!!!!

give away my 3FTtank to a reefer, no point making profit out of it.

i tailor make a new tank from marine life henry

this time , making a 2ft*2*2 , length exclude the over-flow,with sump and cabinate .

anyway is this consider a Nano tank?
