Help pls white spot spotted

Hi all, need sme advice n recommendation. This morning spotted 2 of my fishes got ich n they are impossible to catch them out now cuz my tank got lr n coral. Wat r the ways to cure or got any medication i can use that wont affect my coral cuz i understand tat sme medication use copper.

if u have a good skimmer, try Kent Rxp. it works for my tank. but follow instruction carefully coz it will increase the ammonia level, hence efficient skimmer is needed. also must continue dosing for at least 7 times (with alternate day interval), hence total 14 days cycle. good luck.

the question raised by planetq is true. u need to ensure that yr tank is cycled. 2012 for 2 footer should be ok.

fishes in there ard 1wk oredi..doing fine until this morning, as for water para haven check yet..rushing to work. tank finished cycle oredi..ard 2 month liao

normally i put my fish in a smaller tank 4 ard 3daes to a wk b4 intro to bigger tank.

mmm....my advise is to monitor and not dose any kind of medications. try some garlic dips on the food.

hey dun think that reef safe, heard that it will kill hard coral especially lps........ Anyway the best way to kill ich is to have good water quality, monitor the fish closely and you should have no problem.

as long as your fishes are eating, there's a veri good chance it will recover. if it weaken to the level of not eating, veri jiat liat.

best is to monitor n worst, if u really love the fish, catch it out for a "freshwater" dip.

else still eating, fed garlic soaked food to boast the immune system.

ich is like some flu.. of course when u are sick, n still not eating..

u r going to see the light at the end of the tunnel, same as fishes..

i feed all my fish wif food or frozen brine shrimp soaked in garlic guard.

but will ich spread to other fishes?

i dun really advocate freshwater dipping. but then many have been successful with it. imagine when you're sick, and the doctor immerse you into some water/chemical you're not used to.

after i tried once, i never did it again.
