Rid of Mantis Shrimp

hi fellow reefers,

anyone who has a proven method to get rid of the mantis shrimp?

Had one in my tank. And its causing my nano fishes to disappear.

And its making that irritating "snapping" noise whole day.

Any one to help ease my situation ?

Yup, could be a pistol shrimp also. Anyway, l caught mine after removing half my tank LR. Seems to me the only and best way as the bugger was always hiding. l just lift up the final LR where it is hiding in.

Since yours a nano tank, shdn't be hard to remove the LR right? Just got to rescape loh...

It did occur to me that it could be Pistol shrimp,

but i saw it burrowing through my LRs and with its rotating eyes,

i was quite sure it was a mantis,

anyway it seems that the only sure way is to localise it and hunt it down.

Should use a freshwater treatment or just let it hang high and dry with it in the LR?

buy the trap AM is selling, can trap shrimps and crabs, quite effective

eee... i think i got a mentis shrimp also coz i find a molt of mentis shrimp. i think it's in the mushroom LR. If i fresh water dip, will my mushroom die or the shrimp will die?
