Lighting Need Advised

I using a Rainbow brand for my 4 x2x2.5 tank.it all carry 28w bulb.It it enough?i only switch on the first two bulb only.(white&blue).The other one is (blue&blue).

It really depends on what you're keeping. If it's only fishes, then yes, the lighting would be fine.

But if you intend to keep corals, you're gonna need more light. How much more light will depend on what corals you intend to keep.

For soft corals not enough. They need enough lights and correct spectrum for the zoos to make food for the corals.

u mention 28 watts. I believe its T5NO.

T5HO for 3 ft is 39 watts,

so for 4 ft is 54watts i think. sorry not sure of the

watts for 4ft as mine is only 3 ft. u can check with DElightings

website.

IMHO u can install it, but it will give

only 28 watts. u have to change to 54 watts
