actually i did not test cause i started a new tank and my rocks is just cured rocks. It will be good if u can check n know the reading. For me i just follow the instruction.

Bro,

Purple up is more for promoting coralline algae growth. They have another product called AragaMILK (liquid) & AragaMIGHT (powder) which is more meant for maintaining CA. Good for maintaining the CA level in tank provided u know what is your tank CA comsumption. But if want to use this to raise your CA, you have to be careful and not overdo it as it will affect your PH.

hey Sapp.i am using grotech calcium powder to maintain my calcium level..i want coraline algae growth..so i shld go for the purple up right???

yup purple up... but if i'm not wrong it will work better at a certain ph....

Oh, since u are running a CR, then its a different story. Yes, if you want to promote coralline algae growth, then Purple UP is good. Do take note that Purple UP promotes growth, which means that you must have some coralline algae in your tank in the first place.
