Here is a pic of the WavySea controller.

U press reset and the WavySea starts to move in one direction al the way in a circle. U can set the speed u want the WavySea to rotate.

If u want the WavySea to sweep back and forth between two points then u press "Set 1" when u reach a point where u want the WavySea to sweep back. When u reach the other point where u want the WavySea to rotate back, u press "Set 2". Very simple.

When u set the Wavy Sea to sweep back and forth, u dont have the ability to control the speed of rotation and it rotates at its default speed.

When power is lost, the WavySea stops in one position and u have to press reset before it will move again. This is bad news if the power goes off and u are not at home as the wavysea could be blowing directly at your prized sps colony.

To prevent this possible mishap, I make sure that the WavySea does not blow directly at any corals in its rotation track.

Just changed the zeovit rocks for the third time and changed the zeovit reactor to the jam free i-Aquatics IZ-818 zeovit reactor.

This I-aquatic zeovit was modified by Ian with a check valve for use outside of the sump.

The I-Aquatic Zeovit reactor can hold more than 4 ltrs of zeovit but I have only 2 ltrs of zeovit in the reactor.

I like this reactor because it is jam free and u can spin the rocks as u pump the cylinder to easily clean the mulm from the zeovit stones.

I added a flow meter at the top of the IZ-818 zeovit reactor to measure the flow to the zeovit stones. The flow meter measure up to 1000 lph and I need to run 800lph through the reactor with 2 ltrs of zeovit stones.

Using the Aquatronica to monitor and control the display tanks of the SPS tank and the LPS/Softies tank.

The Aquatronica is controling the lighting of the two tanks. I use the Aquatronica as a pH monitor, density monitor, Orp monitor and temperature controller for the redundant backup chiller for the SPS tank.

how does the flow meter work??? does it place some sort of barrier in between the path of the water flow?

you might want to keep a look out of if the mum's from the zeovit would be able to flow out into the tank.....

The flow meter is put in the path of the water flow. The water level on the transparent tube will indicate the rate of flow measured on the scale on the tube.

I got it online from Marine Depot in the US.

Here is a pic of the Aquatronica power module.

All the sensors connect to the power modules via USB connectors. U need an interphase modules to connect your BNC ended probes to the blue interphase modules which have usb cables to connect to the power module. this means u can use pH, Orp probes from any brand that has a BNC connector to the Aquatronica interphase module.

Havent really started to program it with lots of "what if's" scenarios like I have done with my Neptune AquaController 3. Will eventually get around to it.

Plan to get the Aquatronica sms module when it is available in August to complement the emailing capability of the Neptune AC3 for sending alerts.

Here is a pic of the Grotech TEC 111 dosing pumps with 2 EPIV modules for a total of 11 dosing pumps.

I use one of the pumps to dose 5ml ZeoStart2 daily in 2 doses of 2.5ml each. I will be adjusting it to 4 doses of 1.25ml each to try to reduce the built up of slime and bubbles on the rocks. If that doesnt work then I will be reducing the ZeoStart2 dosage to 4ml per day.

Thinking of using the spare dosing pumps to dose the 8 drops Zeofood7 but have not measured what that is in ml yet and how to dose it when I am dosing the 8 drops of zeobak. Probably easier to manually dose the zeobak and zeofood7.

The other 9 pumps are being used for the lps/softies tank to dose Grotech Coral A,B,C, M and KH 1,2,3 as well as RO water for the Deltec KM500 Kalkwasser stirrer and an alcohol mix for the Deltec NFP509 alcohol denitrator.

The Flow meter shows that only 150gph flow from my Eheim Powercompact 1000.

I need 800 lph flow thru the zeovit reactor. Need to shorten the hose or change the pump to increase the flow by another 50gph.

For the lighting I am using 3 mini-luminarcs with 250W DE metal halide bulbs. The MH are powererd by Icecap e-ballasts. The two end luminarcs are housing Reeflux 12,000k DE bulbs and the center luminarc has a Giesemann MEGACHROME Coral 250W DE 14,500K Metal Halide Bulb.

The metal halides are augmented by four 54W /4 feet T5s powered by IceCap 660 Ballast (220V). Two of the T5 tubes are Korallen Zucht Coral Light Fiji Purple T5s and the other two tubes are ATI Blue Plus T5s
