The juvenile Chevron Tang has nice coloration but when they grow to adulthood, they become very plain.

I hope my little cutie retains its colours for a long, long time.

Well sooner or later it had to happen....

This little bugger is not reef safe. When it is a juvenile it behaves as a cleaner wrasse for other fish but when it grows up the Wedged-tail wrasse is a coral polyp eater.

The little bugger started pecking at my pink milli and the lps in my tank. Been trying to catch the naughty bugger without much success. I think he knows it is the focus of my attention and has so far managed to avoid my traps and nets.

I have been trying to catch this little bugger for more than a week without success. He refuses to eat pellets or frozen food and keeps on pecking on corals.

Four days a go he attacked and single handedly ate a whole clam. After that the little bugger went MIA for two days already. About to declare the bugger KIA an problem solved.

Found the body of the Wedged-tail Wrasse, so confirm KIA.

Coral polyp eating problem resolved but would have preferred to have captured and transferred it to my FOWLR tank.

Going to put this under the rocks to create some flow in the dead spots in one end of the tank.

Did some rescaping today to put the SCWD/Eheim pump as well as the backup chiller's titanium coil under the rocks.

Directing the loc-lines to provide flow to the in tank titanium coil.

Here are some pics of frags affixed on the ceramic mounts and inserted into the frag station...

I think it looks better than egg crates. Its reef safe and can be added stright into the tank without any curing. I washed it though as it was a bit dusty.

It matches my rockwork. I am using it with some small frags that I tend to loose in my rocks because of my in tank tsunami like flow.
