Crab Population Explosion

I discovered that there are a lot of small crabs running around my tank and refugium. They are the small black, brown kinds. Should I do something about them? Is there anything that will have them for snacks? (maybe trigger? octopus?)

I don't have SPS. Not experience enough.

Well, I am worried that they will go after my fishes.

So I guess I don't have to worry that much.

I have about 3 to 4 in my 2 ft tank too.

I think my bicolor benny died because of them because bicolor benny like to hide in holes.

Now I dont think they have any impact on my fishes because all my fishes are the swim about type. No way for them to grab.

Anyway, one of the LFS suggest that if I feed my fishes carefully and slowly, I will be about to starve the crab to death. That is, you will feed only when you see your fishes are still eating and when they stop you stop feeding. That will help ensure that very little food gets circulated in your tank.

Are they hairy, IMO all crab should be remove in a tank, they post a threat to other live stock you have.
