Or do this.... plan on paper but no time to do.... just like a brine shrimp hatchery except base not cut out.... instead using another bottle cut out base as support. Also drill a hole in base for air tube to pass thru... Aiya... just look at pic.... <_<

Just secure airtube just below water level..... Should work... but not very safe... :lol:

Sorry, just thought it over.... if do the above way... water will just rush into the tank.... back to drawing board....!!!! <_<

:peace:

If you put an air value along the air tube, then you can control the flow of water to a drip. Can?

Yes, but it will be a mere doser.... What Im trying to do is a auto top up to a mark out level... so no need adjustment!!!! Know wat I mean.... ;)

Mmm....

You can calculate the rate of evaporation of your tank and then you can tune the drip at the exact rate. That way you will have the evaporation rate cancels the drip rate, and you can have consistency. Some more can dose kalk too...

Feasibile? :idea::idea::idea::yeah::yeah::yeah:

Tubby to the rescue...pm Cookiemunster.

His invention is a saviour for evaporation woes... :P

Agree with flubberina.

The tubby excellent device. If you are technically inadept and/ or have no time to DIY, the tubby is a good solution. Looks pro too. Been using it for two months now and feeding my tank with kalk top up very effectively.

I'm a happy user of the TUBBY ^_^ - kept my tank going for 2 weeks while I was overseas.

Its well made and very reliable since there are two float switches; one of which is a backup in case the other fails.

Watch out for my next review on it ... its a WINNER !!! :)

Well...those who saw it in the booth during Aquarama should vouch for its appearance and the fact that it doesn't look diyed...

Definitely getting one imminently as will be going abroad and can't simply count on my old folks to really help me to 'jaga' well...and dun wan to kill their braincells too quickly also... :P

Cookie...cookie...have you finished your exams? :rolleyes:

:lol::lol::lol:

You just have to put the Tubby on a dry area and connect one section to the sump/tank and the other one to your water container. The period of time that you go without 'topping-up the water container' is only limited by the capacity of your water container and the rate of evaporation due to ambience surrounding... :)

Wah...as if I'm selling!!!...Cookie...any commission?... :lol::lol::lol:
