keeping octopus

hi again.....i saw a few octopus from Rebo*n....the owner : put it an a container is this a good method of storing them ...heard alot of bad comments on this shop.... anyway back to the topic......so how hard is it to keep them....i planning to keep them in a 2 feet with partation filter........what you guys think ????

it's hard.. u need to feed them live crabs.. that means u gotta go like beaches to catch them.. wad's more.. they hide in the rocks.. u'll hardly see them one

hey hey my previous blue ring did not reject any food i give him, even for market prawn meat. IMo they are rather hard to keep as their life span is very short and do not do well in captivity. BTW they are excellent escape artist and can squeeze through any small gap so if you intend to keep them, make sure that tank is escape proof. BTW blue ring are not something to mess with and i don't encourage anyone to keep them. I regret keeping mine but at the same time i cherish the time it has been with me.(6 months plus)
