Have been bumping calcium with my calcium reactor.Now waiting for my chiller to come in :eyebrow:

Hi Bro,

How much and how often you pump your tank with calcium... Always wanted my tank to have that kind of coraline algae growth...

Some info on my current setup

Tank size:2ft x 2ft x 2ft with IOF connected to sump

Sump:2 ft x 1 ft x 3/4ft

Lighting for main tank:Aquaconnect 14k 150w mh(6 hrs per day)

Supplement lighting:1 x FL Actinic(9 hrs per day)

Lighting for refugium/sump:1 x 55w Aqualux 10k Pl tube

(Reverse photoperiod of 9 hrs per day)

LiveRock used:Roughly 30kg of normal LR but lots of coraline algae

Skimmer:Weipro 2012

Chiller: :Tianium 1.25 h/p intended for future tank

Return Pump:Eheim 1262

Internal pump:1 x 2000l/h and 1 x 1000l/h hidden behind LR

Calcium reactor:Macro calcium reactor for now,nxt one shall be DIY

I custom made my tank at a glass shop near my house.Its 8mm grade 1 glass all round.As for cabinet,it actually an old shoe cabinet at home.I modified it by adding in extra support pillars and extension behind as it has a 1.5ft width only but my main tank has a 2ft width.See the pic below and you will understand.I modified my old shoe cabinet because its all to be temporary only!
