Pardon me, but I prefer to remove the sun coral from the tank and feed it separately in a container. This is so that the fishes will not get to the feed and snatch them away. I have this problem with my "HUGE" cleaner shrimp. In my experience, u really need strong smelling stuff to get the sun coral open. I used a mixture of sotong juice (Yes, real sotong juice!) + invert feed + mysis shrimp to get the sun coral to open... but please dun do this in your main tank otherwise u will get an ammonia bloom!
