Hi,

I got some fresh caulerpa from a nice sis here. After a few days, some of them started to turn transparent and melt. What could be the cause?

I have a 2x24W T5 (actinic + white). Tank temperature ~29 deg C.

Thanks!

Both your temperature and lighting seem decent enough... probably some other factors :erm:

When your lighting and temperature are decent enough, check your nitrate level... Maybe there isn't enough for it.... that's my experience when I used nitrate eliminating product in my tank and all macro algae in refugium go asexual by turn..... with the grape first to go....

:) Greeting :)

Tank: 4' by 2' by 2' (CR antique)

Sump: 3' include 1' refuigm
