I just purchased a magnesium testkit by the brand of salifert recently. the magnesium level stated that the magnesium level in my water is too high (>1500ppm) Im still in the process of cycling the tank. Would too high magnesium levels pose a serious threat to the livestock in future? if so how do i lower it? the kH is 8 ard deg

If you're afraid of some bad outcome, water changes will help reduce the levels.

It will naturally be depleted over time by corals.

leave it. it's better then having trouble raising it. MG is found in abundance in seawater. no worries.
