lettuce feast

bro how often do u feed lettuce? mine i just use clothes peg attach at side of tank. almost replenishing 24hrs, i was wondering whether it's too much.

Sump Tank: 28" x 14.5" x 12" (3 compartments)

Lightings: T5 HO - Hopar 3* 39w + ATI 2* 54w

Skimmer: Skimz Bullet Beckett

Chiller: Resun CL-650 (28 - 29 °C)

Wavemakers: 2* Seio M620 + 1* Hydor K2 (7100 litre / hr)

Fluidized Reactor: Skimz FR (currently empty)

Pumps: 1x Rio 32HF (Skimmer), 1x Rio 20HF (Return & Chiller)

Filtration: more than 80kg LRs, chaeto

Water Circulation: ~ 4000 litre / hr

Future Plans: additional wavemaker, DIY algae scrubber, DIY overflow box

hey bro, do u have to train your tangs to feed on lettuce ? or they will juz wack once they see it ?

Well something to share how I intro to my YT. Mine I bought the dried seaweed and clip to the food clip. Let the fellow know is food for him. Anyway I find that the dried seaweed smell nice enough to eat. Once YT used to the food clip I clip one piece of chines lettuce on the clip and leave it there. YT just 'dance' around it try to figure what is that then start ti nip on the lettuce. I switch alternate days between dried seaweed and lettuce. :D

errr... any bros here experience queen trigger nibbling on the lettuce instead of the tangs?

i just intro the lettuce to them and the queen trigger fish was the brave enough to try nibbling on it...lolzz

one of my clown fish feeds on the seaweed meant for tangs :fear: he would squeeze among them for the seaweed :pinch: wat a clown ?
