Feeding for Tangs

Got a couple of YT and one purple tang but cannot get them to feed on the Julian Springs Red seaweed attached to the clip.

May I know what types of food should I feed them or how to get it to eat the seaweed?

l'm using that also but i tied it to a small LR to make it look a little more natural. But i started out using normal market dried seaweed (those unseasoned type).

Dun worry, the tangs shd be eating it soon, perhaps it's their first time seeing the foreign clip which is unfamiliar. Once one tang starts, the rest will follow.

try feeding them with lettuce ... tangs simply love it. all my tangs love it.

Do we need to boil the lettuce first? Or just defroze it from the fridge and feed them?

No need to boil.

Can either let them eat fresh, or you may also freeze it and defroze before feeding.

Thx will try the lettuce method. BTW, can we find those Yakinori dried seaweed in GIANT / NTUC ?

I saw ppl recommending the above food for tangs too. Is there only a specific type of Yakinori seaweed in Spore?

You can find those nori in any NTUC supermarket or chinese medical shop. Abt $1 per pack. Must be those unseasoned ones.
