hehe i got my fan to chill the tank down by 4-5degs..

was 32degs then added fan chilled to 26-27

Those fans in a row are useless. It's not powerful enough to generate enough air flow. Try getting those single unit that are now widely sold in aquarium shops. Think it costs around $30-40 each. Very good. Can cool down around 3-4degrees.

hi, actually i am using the 4 in row fan, but it fail one by one in 3 months time, so bought a house used fan that cost me $23. belive me, it can serve the purpose, my tank had been maintain at about 28 when all my light on. (2*55w PL, 2*30T5, 2*30w Blue). at night, when light off, it can go down to 26-27, i am really happy about it. IMO why waste the money and effort buying those fan. But BTW, i still support those DIY fan, it a form of self satifaction, i just too lazy to DIY myself.

i used 6 row kind lar..

i can reach 26 degree wif lights on or off..

but..its stupid..the fans get spoilt 1 by 1..
