Do you guys think that a co-current skimmer is better? or a counter-current skimmer.

Co-current: water flow and microbubbles move in the same way towards the waste collection cup

Counter-current: water flow downwards while microbubbles bubble upwards so they're in the opposite direction and hence the name counter current

I just did up a skimmer sketch. Has anyone seen a skimmer deisgned as such?

This current sketch is a CO-CURRENT skimmer. water flows into the inner chamber and the flows upwards TOGETHER with the bubbles and then the water exits into the outer chamber and then out of the skimmer while the bubbles foam up into the cup.

I will check out the macro.

yeah i understand what is recirculating but is it really that necessary to do re-circulation? I'm trying to understand the physics and logic behind it.
