what kind of corals can i get for my tank

what kind of corals can i get for my 3 ft tank. 25W Coral Sun 10000k marine white light and 420Nm actinic blue. temp around 27 to 29.

ur lighting is only suitable for a fish and LR only tank... nt even enuff for mushrooms...

I'm having the same type of lighting as yours but my tank is only 2ft. As suggested by sjsheng, get a T5. It will be better for a 3ft.

With that type of lighting in my 2ft I keeping, yellow poly, blue mushroomfeather duster, bubble coral, zoanthus, star poly anf even flowerpot coral. They are all doing well.

can try cheaper light like T4 PL 48watts for 3 footed .....it better compare to T8 u are using ....and it cheaper than T5 but not as good as T5 cause T5 is brighter and last longer ....the brightness ... but T4PL is cheaper a lot ...... the brand is CR aqu

flowpot coral is one the the hardest coral to keep ...at will waste off slowly in week or months time ...gd luck to you ammonit

and i think your light for your 2 footer is around 30watts for both that is not enough to keep flowerpot coral at least a 55watts PL T4 ....i would said .....

can try 2 T4 -PL 48 watts for your 3 footer that makes it a total of 96watts ......should be enough for all the soft coral .....

it doesnt differ from system to system. if u have identical specs. chances are it will be similar.

depends on how deep your tanks is.

I guess Luck has been on my side so far since the flowerpot is doing well in my tank for 4 mths. I also know that it is a difficult coral to keep.
