IMO, the fittest may survive but not necessary the weakest should perish. Sounds like the business world.

The difference between a human and an animal is we have a heart to help those in need. In our society, didn't we show compassion and empathy to the weakest of the lot and try our best to help them in anyway we can?

That's why we have CASE to blacklist and label those bad retailers who are all out to con people. Are we saying that those pple who were conned deserved it and there's no need for CASE to take actions/ blacklist those retailers?

Moreover, this is only a hobby site for likeminded reefers and with web sponsors supporting it. It's not as if we are all in here doing business. Shdn't this hobby be one that every reefer helps one another?

Yes, it's indeed paramount to read & understand more before dealing. No doubts. But why shd we punish the weak or those being cheated or newbies and said they shd deserve the consequences of being cheated for not reading enough or have enough knowledge. We cannot know everything anything especially with this hobby.

Just wanna alert reefers about this Va*Dea*, who has been pm-ing newbie reefers to try to sell off his stocks.

have been informed by a few reefers abt him pm-ing them, and trying to sell livestocks which he purchased in bulk from LFS and then selling at much higher prices. I believe this guy is an unethical reefer and would advice reefers to exercise caution if got his offers.

Cheats are not tolerated in this forum. Fair dealing is encouraged. There's always legal recourse and public shaming.... but that should be the last resort.

The best is if the accused come out and clarify the matter with evidence to support and if the accusers do have proof. Then there is clarity and there should be settlement.

Sometimes without hearing from both sides, lopsided comments will result in a witchhunt that will tear society apart. Innocents can also cause havoc by spreading unverified rumours. The petty thief can suddenly become a mass murderer!

....er.......AT ah, I believe the victim themselves reported in the thread. Society won't tear apart as it's the victim who started this awareness programme. Since cheat are not tolerated as you written and the thread has exposed a few of them, what is your next move, sir ?

I do know that there is a hit list of 'hated' people but really loh, if there was serious crime done, report it to the authorities! If you kenna burnt before by such people... don't do business with that person again!

AT, the funny thing about the law here is that the court would probably access damages based on cost as a result of the slander...given that most of us are not public figure and, also you can hardly justify lost of potential sale...its unlikely to amount to much....

Even if you win a civil suit and the court award cost to you...you still end up having to pay some $$$ for those administration fee etc...something to the tune of at least $750 for small cases...

so seriously, a lot of the so call 'cheater' alway changelle people to sue them, but in reality i would not bet on it happening - the irony of it is that these same 'cheater' used it as a basis of justifying that their actions are right in the first place....
