eballast for T5 HO

Hi,

Keen in DIY a HO T5 unit but i dun even know the wattage for HO.

Anyone here able to help me on this?

There are so many watt, 24W, 36W, 50W...etc

So what wattage above then consider as HO?

For those 4 T5 tubes, you guys use 2 dual eballast or there is such eballast that able to support up to 4 tubes?

2ft is 24 watt..

3ft is 39watt.. and so on..

for quad T5.. normally they use 2 ballast..

erm.. i'm not very sure about this den.. need some expert to advice.. but i think the ballast for wad u mention shld be ok for 2 ho T5.. as one of the light is 29W so for both should be 60W and 50w should be ok/?

no....for a 2ft T5....the wattage for high output tubes is 24w...and the electronic ballast can be used for 2 tubes....

i think the 50w ballast can fire those tubes up...only think is the tubes or ballast lifespan will be shorten...

what i know is a higher wattage ballast can fire up a tube that is equivalent or lower wattage den the ballast...

but if the ballast is 24w...there is no way its gonna fire up a 39w tube...

go sungei rd..lots of hardware shop dere....u can get either elbiru or ariba.....both of this nt bad....
