PH problems

I just measured my PH and it is 8.6 , How do i bring it down to 8.2-8.3 ?

They vary thru' the day... with higher readings at mid-day lighting, and drop during the nites. What time was the reading taken, and wat did you test with?

hahaha..u can does PH down..can be found in shops...

by dosing only a small dose each day to reduce the pH.

yup agree...pH will change during the day. if not wrong, best to test in the morning.

Probably new tank. Add pH buffers to stablised.

i would advice u not to dose any pH down chemical .

check ur alkalinity, normally when ur alkalinity is between 8- 10 , ur pH will fall to abot 8.1 to 8.5 .

u can get it from aquamarine, iwarna , reefdepot, petmart,,, most LFS will carry them.

try salifert or tropic marine for good test.
