I did read that there are some type that can be drilled or can just chip away at it to make it into a "natural" cave. But maybe it's just me that I find it a waste cause you are paying per kg but removing about half of it($$$ down the drain) for the looks.

Hahaha yes agree.. So I rather leave it as it is. Jus hope my fishes will enjoy the rings

Haha. Yeah. I should be going to look for more rocks tomorrow. Hope can find good pieces. Will update when I do.

Waste might get stuck on e left and right bottom rocks if flow not directed correctly.

Haha. Add more wave maker.
Mine 2ft I using external canister for top wave.
2 X wave maker.
1 X surface skimmer with pump.
1 internal filter also producing wave.
1 hang on protein skimmer making small wave also.

If upgrade to 3-4 ft I'll get 2 more wave maker. Hahaha. Overkill.

Good to see newbies exchanging pointers. For rock, got few big pcs better than many small pcs. For cave alike, find tonga rocks.

Tank : 4 X 2 X 2 with low iron front panel and external overflow

Skimmer : BK SM200 with waste collector

Return Pumps : Red Dragon 6m3 and Ehiem 1262

FR : 2 X Deltec 509 & powered by AB2000

Nitrate Filter : Deltec NF 509 and tee off from AB2000

Calcium R'tor : Deltec PF 501 with RM secondary chamber

Kalkwasser R'tor : Deltec KM500

Chiller : Pansonic 1 HP Compressor with 20m titanium Coil

Wave Makers : 4 X Tunze 6055 with 7096 & Vortec MP40w

Controller : GHL Profilux

Lighting : ATI Powermodule 10 or 8 tubes

Water Top-up : Water Top-Up tank powered by Tunze Osmolator

External Monitor : American Pinpoint pH and Temp. Monitor for main tank and GHL Profilux Controller to measure temp, pH, Redox

Ozonizer : Sander C50

UV : Corallife 6x

Algae Scrubbler

U go goggle about it.
Last time i have it in my tank before and didnt bother abt it.
But without knowing it, it spread like hell.
Damn scary. :huh:
Will harm ur other corals if u intend to keep corals.


Ahhhhh. Okay. Thanks for being observant. Haha.
Reading up as we speak and I think I'll be removing it.
