Self guided Tour of Marine tanks in Town

Tour A

Below are a few marine display tanks in the Orchard MRT area. May not be terrific for experts here but perhaps for bringing young family members to view. Feel free to add your comments to each tank, eg. if you know how many gallons, when is the feeding time, what to look out for in the tank, etc :

1. Wisma Atrium Basement

Comments: Biggest tank in town. Can take the bubble lift down into the tank for a "dive" effect.

2. Tangs level 1, one of the cosmetic counter

Comments: Never know why this range of cosmetic want to put display tanks behind their counters (other shopping centres too), nobody seems to appreciate the fishes. Difficult to take a close-up look at the tank without blocking their business. Perhaps somebody want to try asking the salesgirl about the fishes instead of their cosmetic .

3. Paragon level one (old part of the building, all the way to the back, SIA office)

Comments:

4. Mount Elizabeth Hospital level 2 Admission counter

Comments: 2 long tanks with lively fishes. (Note: Main entrance close at 8pm)

Tour B

Suntec and Marina Square

1. Suntec city Basement 1 where the Koi pond and pet shop are

Comments: 3 tanks, with television built into the tank (Anyone want to try that at home?)

2. Marina Square level 2 (hard to give direction, ask information counter)

Comments: Interesting circular tank built around a pillar.
