2ft to 4ft tank

Hi...........

I am keeping 2ft reef tank and wish to transfer my stuff to a 4 ft tank.

So how am I going to transfer them without much damage to the coral without cycling my 4 ft tank??

Any good ideas???

if i am not wrong you still need to cycle your "new" 4 ft tank... perhaps speed up cycling process by seeding it with a large portion of your existing 2' tank water and sandbed and filter media etc etc etc.....

as you are increasing volume of your tank you would need to increase the amt of bacterias found in your new tank so as to meet the needs of your increased bioload....

then slowly transfer lol. like after 4 weeks?

unless u use all the old medium of your tank and the old water. i think u stil need abt 3 weeks.. ya.. too impatient go for 2 weeks.. anything die dun blame me

Rather than just ' 2ft to 4ft tank', how about 'Upgrading from 2ft to 4ft tank, transfering livestock question.'
