seems like it is able to produce lots of bubbles.. but the bubbles does not seems to be tiny enough?

thats what the impeller looks like already. i havnt have any skimate since the second day. i think the water is too clean right now. i have no fish in there and just a few mushrooms and a frogspawn.

I have to take the skimmer back out tonight. i found some mirco bubbles leaking out of the case half of the pump. i think i might need to seal it with some silicone. i'll get more pics when i take it apart.

but i got a JBJ picotope!

i think i'm going to set it up in my bedroom in a few weeks. when i do i'll make a new trhead for it.

yeah, i only paid $30 USD for the picotope. and it came with that Azoo skimmer. so i couldnt pass up the deal. I might try to fit some LEDs into the light fixture so i can have some SPS.

try use plastic mesh instead of fibre mesh

u can use fishing lines to tied if u cant find anything else..

btw u might wanna watch ur heat for ur pico tank..

and e evaporation rate.. for such a small tank is a killer..

yeah thats why i want to do LEDs, because there will be less heat.

I'll hopefully hve the reefkeeper up and running this weekend. i started to mount it in my stand last night.

well i got the Reefkeeper 80% installed. i didnt mess with the PH probe because i wasnt too sure how to calibrate it properly and i dont want to try it until i do some more research. i'll post some pics later when its fully installed.

ok i figured the whole thing out. its actually really easy to use once you get the hang of it. i got the PH probe calibrated and working. only thing i'm upset about is i cut the hole in my stand a little crooked for the head unit. no big deal i guess.

so its been controling everything in the system for about 12 hours now. the heater works perfect. my actinics turned on when they were supposed to and my MH just turned on.

i did a water change this morning and i turned off both pumps and the skimmer with the touch of a button. how cool is that?

yes it is. i also have it set to turn off the metal halide light at 82*F and the actincs at 84*F. i also have an extra fan turn on at 80.5*F. its a great thing to have.

heres some updated pictures. the clowns are out of QT and into the main tank again. i moved the rock that my clam was stuck on to from my 12g to my 24g. so the 12g will be coming down soon hopefully and be sold. i have coraline starting to grow in the tank.
