SRC Member reefer guy Posted November 3, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted November 3, 2003 1262... err... what's the flowrate? problem with scwd is if flowrate is weak, it tends to just 'flow out' and the switching is slow.... if flowrate is strong it bursts out really good but the switching is fast thus making the currents made shorter... it would be great if u could adjust it perfectly considering the pump flowrate, ur head loss, and pipe turns and lengths.... SRC Member reefer guy Posted November 3, 2003 SRC Member Share Posted November 3, 2003 its just a simple device wherein ur powerhead/pump is connected to a 'y' or 't' outlet and it will simultaneously flow from one end to the other thus making a it a double headed snake.. heheheh..... roidan
can someone advise on how scwd function... all most of us know is that the water entering turns some gears such that water outlet alternates between left and right outlet arms......someone posted the scwd internal mechanism before....i see if i can find it...
