powder series tang seem to be affected by ich easily.

the only proven way to cure ich is through copper and hyposalinity.

by read up the pinned thread by weileong in disease control/ parasite treatment forum. read up more before administer treatment.

in the meanwhile, boost ur fishes' health by soaking their food in garlic guard.

Just wana share my experience in tackling itch=white spots problem:

If your fish still eating and moving around-good chance of survival.

If your fish doesnt eat and doesnt move around anymore-good luck.

Im still new in this hobby and tried many times and many ways to treat itch and the best way is (thats what ill usually do) chg abit of h20,feed food that soaked wit garlic,on my ozoniser(despite alre hv uv36v)and monitor-thats all.

I dont have the luxury of space to qurantine the fish and got no skill to catch fish to do fresh h2o deep. So ill just use the tech ab. Applying medication can be very stressful for the rest of fishes and costly wit no guarantee for cure.

Once my infected fish starts to swim side way or can hardly move, ill just scoop it up.

Spoken to some friends that gave up this hobby and one of the reason for giving up was fish keep kon ka kiu due to white spots. They were so fedup trying all methods but to no avail.

Anyway this is just my 2cents story/way of handling this common problem and im sure many reefers out there mite not agree with my style but it works for me and im still enjoying this hobby-learned to manage our expectation is very imporatnt for newbies. No matter how good equipments we have in our tank it can never be compare to the real world for the fishes.

ciao and have nice day

My clown fish ever infrected with ich. It doesn't eat and doesn't move around. I was so worried till I saw my coral beauty swim up to it and pushes the clown fish to move and split food in front of it.

Sometimes I wonder if my fishes and shrimp looks out for each others, cause I ever saw my clown feeds my shrimp <_<
