fresh water feeder fish

hi ppl,

i hear that its not healthy to feed my lions with fresh water feeder fish or ghost shrimps. Any other alternatives to share with me? I tried to wean them to frozen food but to no avail:( So are my red angler and leaf fish:(

thats what i read in arofanatics.i'm quite suprise though as i had my lion more than 2 years before i sold him.his main diet only the feeder shrimp.points noted is that lions must have SW food too.maybe can buy a few damsel to feed them once a while.

what is so cruel about that? you're merely replicating the food chain in a controlled environment.

the lowest on the chain will definitely get eaten by the one on top of it. so on and so forth. thats life! (=
