Decided to do a monthly FTS for both the main tank & refugium on the last day of every month.

my wife say that the refugium is the beauty & main tank is the beast... faint

nothing much to update at the moment… just set back and enjoy after some many months of hardship.

now waiting for the sps to grow and either colour up or became more and more 'natural'

Survival rate to date is 9/10. But still too early to justify as they only with me for the past 3 weeks

Good news is that now all of them are eating frozen shrimps without cyclop-eeze, I'll try to move them to formula 1 soon

I will advise you to purchase a school of min 6, better still 12, lucky better 20 if your tank is big for higher survival rate

Feeding is a real challenge for the fist week. I Feed them base on 4 hrs interval, 8am-12pm-4pm- 8pm

during feeding, you got to flood the whole tank with cyclop-eeze, brine shrimp and mysis shrimp but most of the time they are hiding in the rocks

Even if they don’t eat you still have to do so for the next feeding time… end up most of the food go into nemo's stomach

look out for high nutrients in the water, sounds bad for sps dominated tank right but I believe your system is good enough to handle that

My No3 & Po4 reading this morning still undetectable

if they still don't eat after 1 week, can try freshly hatched brine shrimp, I've heard they will greedily accept them

PQ has the worst track record in term of Survival rate in the past... but with so many new foods that are available nowadays, hope they can survive for a longer length of time in an aquarium.
