query on dwarf angel

hi guys ..

i recently accuired a white tail dwarf angel ( c. flavicauda), an red stripe dwarf( c. eibli ), and bicolor ( C. bicolor ).

they were put into the tank in the order that i placed their names. but with time difference of say 5 days to a week. at first all healthy and fed. but the eibli was picky and MIA after 2 weeks. the bicolor now MIA but it was in better condition than the eibli, though it only fed on pellets. the flavicauda is stable and feeds on everything i throw in.

no fighting at all. even though i read that flavicaudas are known to kill other angels. but the flavi is the smallest of the three.

anyone have any idea wat could be wrong ? or am i just unlucky ?

dwarfs are supposed to be quite hardy right ?

btw i have 2 ft cube. :(

i got quite abit of rockwork .. so MIA is not impossible ... and i have a bad habit of picking small specimens ... fetish for small fish maybe .. but i realised my mistake is that the flavicauda is a killer... did research and found out that the C. flavicauda or white-tail/damsel/pacific pygmy angel is a killer of other angels ... it will not tolerate other angels in its territory to the extent of murder..

i was inspired by iwarna la ... they have a tank with many pygmy angels ... somemore all quite big ... in a three ft tank .. so i figured it'd be ok with my tank ... but i was wrong ... a lesson with a big price to pay i guess... thanks for all the advice guys

I have 4 pygmy angels in my 2x1.5x1 ft tank. I think the tricks is to introduce them slowly. Put the new fish in a beta box for a week or so before releasing them to the main tank. Btw I often introduce fish very very slowly cos tank small and sudden increased of bioload will kill.

Hehe I am thinking of introducing another flame angel now
