setting new 4 ft tank and question

hi brothers out there..

i need help......................

i want to set up a 4 FT tank...

width...forget liao..........

what are the advisable filter to use? slump filter?

is it ok to set up 4 ft tank....?

can i also placed lots of timer to stimuate "morning", daytime, evening and night.

with the help of the color lights?

anyone tried the above...

newbie here..no experience in setting marine tank..

I am just an average FR (fish reefing) writer. If you like my FRs, please upz my points.

1) 4ft is ok, the bigger the better.

2) If possible...and make it a effort to get a sump. save you a lot of headache in future

3) i think almost everybody uses a timer...or timers.

As for the lights- IF You are not going to keep corals then any colour you like can go on the tank. BUT if you are intending to keep corals i suggest you read up much more on lighting requirements of the various coral species.

4) Do a little more reading on the subject before you start, the information and links you need is all pinned in this section.
