how is the spread of light if used for 2.5ft? pretty uniform or will the sides received less light?

May I know also how high the stand is? quite concerned abt water temp once i switch to this MH light.

For 2.5ft, it's better to hang it in order to get a good spread of the MH.

I think I made a mistake for the stand.

There's no stand provided..
