I'm currently using a Tunze External Overflow box... it is relatively easy to set up... but it can only support around 800L/hr making it not suitable for larger tank... if you are interested in such concept... do check out other brands as the Tunze is quite costly for a piece of plastic

Added a Hydor Koralia 1 to speed up the mixing process

How do you like the hydor pumps? They just starting offering these pumps in the United States and I thinking about adding one for my SPS QT system (either that pump or a new tunze nano stream).

I am running tunze 6100s on my system. 6000s are very powerful as well. If you add a thicker substrate and place it on top of your fine grain size sand bed you should be fine.

I am running 2 x 6100 too in my main tank... well I've already lower its power to 30% – 60% pulsing
