my sump has 5 baffle plates yet i still have micro bubbles... can it be:

1. ri20 return pump produce the bubbles

2. piping - some where its ###### air in still? (but it should leak water if there are gaps right)

3. skimmer and return pipes too strong? micro bubbles flowing thru the 5 baffles?? :fear:

i am quite baffled at the moment.:fear:

It could be any of the above suggestions... do you wanna consider adding a layer of anti-microbubble black sponge? But that means extra maintenance in the long run ;)

i just checked... amazingly there are still micro bubbles in the last compartment! this is shocking. 5 baffles cannot handle the bubbles.

i am guessing its my twin input pipes that is causing it as the splash is quite strong due to the high drop and thus alot of bubbles are created.
