Giesemann or ATI

hi bro anyone here knows which is brighter ATI or Giesemann thanks.want to get the brightest.please do tell what kind or colour is brighter.bros for 4 tube what combination should i use for LPS and SPS?i using MH so lighting is enough.thanks very very much.cheers

i m using Giesemann tube but i guess the brightest depend a lot on the kind of ballast u using too...

i am using the osram electronic ballast

I actually tested both tubes (in Actinic) on my old Solite MH + T5 fixture and ATI had given me a better colouration (corals look better especially fluorescent red and green)

Mix them. Currently using 2 Aquablue and 2 Aquablue Plus. Might be experimenting with-

1 aquablue

1 aquablue plus

1 actinic (dunno which brand yet)

1 super white (korallen)

using ATI previously in my DE T5. brighter than giesemann as i just got a t5 giesemann tube and set recently

Good ballast will supply the maximum power to your bulb and Good reflector also will double the light to penetrate or more concentration to bottom of your tank.The combination of aqua blue and aqua blue plus also will give you good color. Happy Reefing buddy

I'm using 6X39(ATI Sunpower Fixture) + 4X39w ATI Retrofit. I can keep Sps and ultra maximas on the sand bed(24inch Tall). Bulbs are 6Xblue plus + 4X Blue Special.

Havent used any Giesemann fixture or bulbs yet so cant make a comparison.
