throwing the kalk mix into the sump is ok for me coz i mix with enough vinegar to bring down the ph of the solution. the idea of dripping is not to cause a jump in yr ph > 8.4. i mix 30ml vinegar with 0.5 teaspoon of kal with 1litre of top-up water.

Becareful of the mixture though...too much of vinegar added, in the end you only get the calcium part of product and loose the capability of kalkwasser to raise maintain or increase your alkanlinity, making it like a calcium solution only. If your alkalinity is already high but low calcium levels, I would use calcium chloride instead as it is more potent in raising calcium levels.

How u guys drip the mixture to the tank ?

Is it ok to use a plastic cup with a miro hole on the btm to drip the mixture to the tank ?

buy the small adjustable dripper then drip at abt 1 drop per second
