It's not necessary to store kalk in a dry cabinet. It's not that hygroscopic. A good fitting and tight container will do.

I am using Reefez kalkwasser and find it comparable to the other top brands in the market in terms of purity and ease of use. It's a good thing that the market is no longer charging crazy prices like before, compared to overseas markets where such additives are dirt cheap.

Cheap doesn't mean that it is not good . They are a new brand in the market &

I believe this sale thing is a promotional gimmick to attract attention .

I personally had been using this brand & I find that their products are on par if not

even better than some established brands! B)

The phrase to describe this brand " CHEAP & GOOD ! " :P

Just got my Kalk from ML. What i understand from Hendry was that, some retailers lowered the pricing for Seachem products. Seachem wholesalers didn't do anything about but Reefez did. Because of competition, Reefez lowered their prices. That's what i understand.

price cheap dosen't mean there's somthing wrong what... when the COE for cars was $1, there wasen't something wrong with the LTA...:lol: just market competition...

I brought it some where in the oct... And that cost me $21 !!!

Does anyone know, do i have to leave the mixture for at least 24hr before dosing ? Can i use aged water for the dosage ? Does anyone test the calcium and alkalinity levels in 1 teaspoon for 2 litres ?

ReefeZ Kalkwasser : If my tank is low in both calcium and alkalinity, does this product helps to increase the calcium and alkalinity levels ?

Thanks!

U dont really need to age it for 24hrs a few hours will do .. or once the mixture has settle down..

U can just water but not seawater ..

It would raise ur calcium and dkh level very slowly as itis more uses as a buffer.. to maintain the levels.. But then again depending on how much u dose..

throwing the kalk mix into the sump is ok for me coz i mix with enough vinegar to bring down the ph of the solution. the idea of dripping is not to cause a jump in yr ph > 8.4. i mix 30ml vinegar with 0.5 teaspoon of kal with 1litre of top-up water.
