good and affordable phos removing media

i initially had problems with diatoms on my sand bed, until i added in a sand sifting goby, which did wonders on the sand bed. however , the diatoms shifted up to my LR, so im wondering.. what phos remover is effective yet affordable ? i would love to use rowas, but its way out my budget..

u can use seachem phosguard...less den $30 u can get a big bottle outside...im using it too...phosphate has been less den 0.005ppm always... ;)

hmmm how often do u change it ? some ppl tell me that it will leach back the phos after a while ... is that true ?

the label states that it will nt leech back po4 after it has been exhausted.... :lol:

i notice those beads turn yellowish liaoz den i change....abt 3mths change 1 time...but my po4 is still very low....so dun really tink it leeches po4 back bahs..
