Installed the WavySea Plus in the FOWLR tank.

While the WavySea can handle up to 2,300 gph, the WavySea Plus can handle up 3,600 gph. Its perfect for my Red Dragon 14m3 return pumps 14,000 lph flow.

My Red Dragon 14m3 return pump impeller broke while I was away. Apparently the pump ran dry when my maid cleaned the skimmer and let it run wet and drain the sump when I was not at home. Lesson here....always check on the skimmer an hour after u make any adjustment to it.

Lucky I had a secondary return pump with an Eheim 1262 running as backup. Lesson number 2....The Return pump is an essential life support equipment for the tank and should have a backup. eureka.gif

Sent the Red Dragon back to reef depot to replace the impeller as it is one piece with the magnet.

I didnt have space for a out of sump pump like the Sequence Reeflo pumps so I had to look for an in sump pump with a flow rate of around 14,000lph to replace my Red Dragon 14m3. The QuietOne 14000 fits the bill perfectly.
