it's a float switch, you dun have to use it if you dun need it.

It's more for auto top up use. like toilet flush system and water will stop once it reaches the set level.

iwarna have a set up using it. maybe you can go and view to see it's application

Yes its like a toilet water tank. U can open up your water tank to have a better understanding of how it works.

With a little modding to a pail or container you can have filtered water for usuage anytime (eg. mixing new salt water) if you are not topping up directly into the tank.
