How do I know if Clownfishes are paired?

How do I know if clownfishes are paired? Anyway to identify it? If both of them is sleeping in the same area side by side at a sort of hole they digged, does it mean anything?

u will notice that they love to swim together.. like very close friends rather then enemy each at 1 side of the tank

dun agree totally thou it make sense..

IMO, if u notice, even newly bought clown fishes like to stick together..

if u buy 2 @ the same time in the same tank!

they will always stick together thou they not paired..

e.g.its like when u go africa, where everywhere speaks native language but somehow u meet an old frend, u sure acknowledge each other rite?? and stick together..

if u have anemone.. a whole bunch of them will hide in it, even sleep in it..

so whose the pair??

hmmm.. but i use to keep 5 clown fish.. none will wan to stick together.. and they dun share anemone too.. anyway any expert can give advice? oh ya maybe u should go to CF and have a look at those paired up nemos.. u will have a more clear understanding

I bought one common false clown at reborn, and after a week I went to coralfarm and bought a true perc, and at first they slp at different places, 1 at each side of the tank... but after a week or so, they started to slp together...so I guess it can be said to be paired?

I dunno which one is male and which one is female...but the true perc i bought at CF is bigger then the one bought at reborn...I purposely buy a bigger one so that there will be a greater chance of pairing...

Yupz...it is possible to pair true clown with false clown...I have seen it done before by other reefers...But I wonder what will the offsprings be like...lolz
