do your anemone become HUGE!?

today 1 got a anemone from SL.

its was abt the size :(scale factor 1cent coin)

when i reach home and after acclimatizing it for 2 hrs

it reached the size :(scale factor 50 cent coin!)

super huge!!!!

is anything wrong or...?

maybe your tank condition better than the LFS holding tanks.. and thats why it stretch open wider.. but i think k if its been in your tank for quiet sometime and it always open big big and stretch open.. means it have not enough light..

good luck on your anemone.. i will never get one anymore and leave it to the wild where in thrive..

ever heard of the anemone tt hates light??

i have one yellow anemone tt absolutely hates light!!!

when place with high lightings it move away and hide underneath the rocks!!!!

i was like 'wat the'.

had encountered that 'hiding anemone' before.... n it did under my rocks.... water change.... water change...water change....

Never seen a hiding Anemone.

Normally they only hide their base.

so if the anemone is hiding does it means its sick?

p.s how do i know if the anemone is dying..?

1 way i know of is bleaching.

are there other ways of knowing too?

not really sure if hiding literally means it's sick or dying... a thing i notice when my anemone is dying is the mouth looks like its turning inside out and excretes slimy stuffs...

never notice the mouth..

currently my anemones doing fine..

just got a BIG shock at the huge size my anemone became when the time i saw it was kinda small...

just natural as ive said.. usually when i buy anemones i would go for a smaller size, considering giving it a bigger room for it to expand...
